Our story
It started with one truck and one big idea: no one in our community should go hungry.
Daily Bread began with a small group of folks and a borrowed truck. They handed out food to neighbors who needed it. The idea was simple — and it caught on fast.
Today, thanks to our founder Mrs. Maggie and thousands of volunteers, we help families across 9 Central Florida counties. We give out food, teach free classes, and host events that bring people together. But the heart of it hasn't changed: we treat every person who walks through our doors with kindness and respect.
We do this with the help of amazing partners — local pantries, churches, shelters, businesses, and people like you. Together, we're building a stronger Central Florida, one meal and one helping hand at a time.
